    Exclamation [SOLVED] help with upgrade from 7.04 to 10.10 on VMWare

    Hello
    I have an ubuntu 7.04 which is currently hosting a drupal installation on VMWare Workstation 6, and I wanted to upgrade the linux to 10.10, however when I tried apt-get update it did not work.
    Anyone can help me how to proceed with this? I only have command line available when I launch the virtual machine, no GUI as such with the Linux installed.

    Not going to happen. 7.04 is too far away from 10.10.

    Reinstall is the quickest option and probably only option as 7.10
