laptop to car radio?
Hi everybody,
I was wondering, If anyone knows if it is possible to use a samsung R540 ubuntu 10.10 to run a playlist then tune it in the radio of my car?
If it is possible what do I need to do so?

Depends on the radio. If the radio has an aux input, just run a standard stereo cable from the headphone jack to the aux input. If not, and both units have bluetooth capability, use that. There are FM units available that will take either USB or standard stereo plug inputs and transmit on standard FM frequencies.
My Sony stereo has both a front aux in and bluetooth, and I use my mp3 player with a cable or my phone via bluetooth, depending on the situation. Using an FM transmitter is by far the least desirable method, because of the poorer quality and reliability. In the end, though, it depends mostly on the capabilities of your car stereo.
