    Reinstalling Windows

Currently, I have a full install of Ubuntu, but I would like to create a partition for Windows. I only have 1 MB of unallocated hard drive space, but I do have a 227.13 GB partition, only 6.48 GB of which is used. If I create a partition table, will my computer become unbootable? And if so, is it possible for me to use the Disk Utility to re-format my hard drive to NTFS so I can completely reinstall Windows instead?

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi Sud64!

You might have a little difficulty in installing Windows after you have installed Ubuntu. Windows likes to be installed first. But I defer to the wisdom of the gurus regarding this.

You can give it a try though by using gparted. It's a very user friendly tool for partitioning your HD. You can plan ahead and decide how you would like to partition yours.

    Stupid Question

Sud64 Why don't you install the windows in a virtual machine. As nujinini windows does like to be as it were "first in the line".

Install windows first then next Ubuntu. Make sure you have enough space when you partition hard drives.
