    gkrellm in top/bottom taskbar?

    i was wondering if it is possible to put gkrellm (system monitor with temp) inside of the top or bottom taskbar. my laptop overheats and i would like to be able to see my temps somewhere on my screen permanently. im sure there is a plugin or something of that nature i dont know about, if there is, please let me know. ty

    The last I heard, gkrellm did not have the ability to be configured in a horizontal alignment, so can not be used in horizontal panels, and can only be configured in a vertical direction.

    found a solution

    i added the sensors-lm package from the repository, then clicked on the top taskbar and added "hardware sensors monitor." then i configured the settings and added min and max temps. i even get a warning when it gets too hot. once again ubuntu rules
