Ubuntu and Kbuntu on same desktop?
I have a dual boot laptop (WinXP and Ubuntu 10.10) with Gnome desktop. I want to try Kbuntu desktop, but don't know how to install it. Do I create another partition and install Kbuntu in that partition?

There is 3 ways to do this - create a partition and install Kubuntu in a new partition.
Alternatively you can install kubuntu-desktop in ubuntu and choose which environment to boot at the login screen. The downside to this method is that you will end up with gnome and kde apps in the menus - which can get a bit messy.
Or install kubuntu in a virtual machine like vbox.

Thanks, I'll try separate partition, then vbox.
