    Angry what of my devices are installed?

    hi all,
    it is my first thread here,
    I installed ubuntu 10.10 on my pc and I have some questions which I will like you answer me:
    how can I know what of my devices are installed?
    or I can find the Device Manager?
    because I have a satellite card and I do not know if it is installed or not even the graphics card.
    my satillete card is twinhan bvs tv 878.

    Hello and welcome to the forums!

    You can get some information about devices and modules being loaded with the following commands when run from a terminal:

    lspci
    lsusb
    lsmod
    dmidecode

    Check the manual pages for each command for more info on running them using the various options and switches available:

    example: man lspci
    oz

    thank you ozar,but when i write these commands how can know if my card is installed.???

    i see the name of my card but i don't now if it was installed or no
    it is too for my satillete card i see her name when i was werteen a cammand lsusb
    but i don't know if was installed or not
