Live Usb Usage
I have installed Ubuntu 10.10 on a flash drive with persistence but I would like to customise it to upgrade it with the ubuntu-studio packages. This is a work project to try and have a portable environment to aid in the teaching of a sound module (Sound for Games) and I have come across one or two problems. Can any one give me any pointers for customising the installation so that it is:
1: single user automatic log on no access to root
2: no install icon on desktop
3: read write access - seem to have a problem writing at the moment even though have used persistence.
4: network awareness for corporate components - email, my documents etc - not essential.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I have read through the live cd customisation from scratch guide but I don't think I need to start that far back as most of what I need seems to alterations to what has already been provided. More than happy to write it up.
