Unhappy [SOLVED] playing wav files in ubuntu 10.04?

This has been a HUGELY longstanding issue for me. I have a copy of FL Studio 9 Fruity Edition running off of wine. Everything about it works just as it should, other than the fact that no wav file will play. This is not just for wine, it's for all of Ubuntu.

Again, I have ubuntu 10.04 running on an Acer Extensa 5230e laptop. Do i need specific codecs, or a program, or does wine not support wav files??? whats wrong?

EDIT: ok this is gay. ubuntu will play .wav files fine. It's just FL Studio running in wine that wont. do i need a windows codec pack for wine?

EDIT AGAIN: Nevermind i figured it out. turns out that wav files are encoded with vorbis. and apparently fl studio doesnt set it up right. some terminal code fixed it.

    sed -i 's/\[drivers32\]/\[drivers32\]\nMSACM.vorbis=vorbis.acm/' ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system.ini
