No sound ubuntu 10.10
Hey guys i am new to linux i did a fresh install last night everything is fine but my sound will not play through speakers, but will play through headphones. My video and sound come out of hdmi video card (i dnt know if that helps) this is really aggervating and would like some help. Thanks

Go to System->Preferences->Sound and open the "Output" tab. See if the HDMI sound output is available. If so, click on that, then test your speakers.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
