    Any experience with USB based external sound cards under Ubuntu 8.04?

    Just checking if anyone had any success with these external USB sound cards, The sound has died on my motherboard, and I thought this would be an easier and cheaper solution, if the drivers are there...

    The usb device Aureaon Dual Usb is ok to replace easily a sound card died
