i posted on ubuntuforums.org and they told me to run bootrec /FixMBR in command prompt via r ecovery disk, then to set the windows to the boot bartioin and install grub somewhere close to it. i ran the LiveCD and in the f1 window i only recieve a "error stdin0" and the splash screen cycles for almost an hour now, any suggestions? i need a quick responce... ive got a very large project due monday for school and the computer is unbootable at the moment.

What's your problem? Unable to boot windows 7? Do you have a full windows installation CD/DVD? Do you have a windows recovery partition? with a recovery CD?
Can you boot Kubuntu? What LiveCD are you using?
