Ubuntu won't boot from live CD?
When I hold "alt" on startup, I can boot from the CD (actually, it's a DVD), which for some reason is labeled "windows". Then, It looks like windows is starting up. Then the screen goes black. I followed the directions on the ubuntu website, and I have no idea what the problem is.

Do you have your BIOS set to boot from CD before HDD?
