Starting Linux - GRUB problems
Dear all,
This morning (local Spanish time), after a kernel update (from 2.6.32-30 to 2.6.32.31), and the subsequent restart, GRUB stopped at its command prompt ("grub>").
I carefully read Nerderello's HowTo on the topic (kudos to him, by the way; easy to follow and to adapt to current kernel and distro).
After managing to start XUbuntu again, with all the bells and whistles, I tried to follow Nerderello's howto to recover GRUB's proper operation... with no success! GRUB keeps stopping at its command prompt.
Any hint to solve this mess?
Fortunately, Linux is perfectly capable of running for days, weeks or months without any restart, so I'm not in panic mode.
Thanks a lot for your time and kind regards.

Solved - Starting Linux - GRUB problems
Dear jonathan183,
I thought I had tried everything. I was wrong.
After using "update-grub", the system woke up as it used to do last week.
Hurra!
You only learn from your errors and problems, and I have learned a lot these days.
Thank you so much for your contribution. XDD
