Post Virtual Box in Ubuntu 11.04

    Hi Friends

Just installed Virtual Box 4.06 in Ubuntu 11.04 But couldn't able to figure out some problems...

Host is Ubuntu 11.04 in that have installed Windows XP as (guest)

    1. USB detecting in Ubuntu BUT NOT in Virtual Win XP

    2. After when i installed (Devices-guest additions....) CD/DVD Rom is not being detected by Virtual Guest (WIn XP), when i checked in mycomputer-manage-device-manager-CD/DVD ROM, it says VBOX CD ROM. when i insert any dvd/cd it won't read/detect?

    how to fix these?

Before you start winxp, you will need to make sure that under storage it is set to use the "host drive" and under the usb if you have a device in the drive you have to tell virtual box to capture it, so go under the usb tab and then click on the add/capture device and select the device you want then start the vm and it should be working just fine.
