Ubuntu 11.04 - disks not shown
I am running a multi-boot system of Ubuntu 11.04, Windows 7 and Windows XP.
Win 7 and XP are on SDA, file storage on SDB and Ubuntu on SDC.
When I boot into Ubuntu it does not see SDA or SDB.
Running fdisk -l produces the following information:

I have seen in another forum that this is likely to be caused by Windows partitions being misaligned.
Is there an easy way to adjust the partitions to allow Ubuntu to see the Windows folders and files?

Hey man, I have been having the exact same problem. I have Windows on my SATA sdb drive and I am trying to install Natty to my SATA sda drive. The partition manager built into Kubuntu DOES find both drives, as does fdisk -l. However, the installer will only find my (Windows) sdb drive. I've been searching forums and google for the answer for about 5 hours now and can't find anything. I don't think anyone knows how to fix this and truthfully, I think the issue is on (k)(x)ubuntu's end. Probably something with the configuration of the installer.
Using Linux since June 2007
Distros: Mint 12
SPECS: AMD Atholon 64 X2 5400+, 2GB RAM, GeForce 8800 GTS
