    xubuntu can't restart samba file

    Hi,

    im newbie with xubuntu and tried to set up my old pc, the problem is that when i modify my samba file and want to restart using /etc/init.d/samba restart the file wasnt there, can someone help me where and how to restart samba.

    The file /etc/init.d/samba belongs to the samba package. Reinstall the samba package (back up your samba config file first, though, jic).
