    E-mail import into Thunderbird

    After reloading my OS my e-mail backups are all in Sbd and msf files, but Thunderbird 3.1.10 seems to only import e-mails from Communicator. Is there a solution for this to :enable me to import my e-mails?

    This should explain it pretty well;

    .msf and .sbd files • mozillaZine Forums

    Question Thunderbird export/import woes

    TaZMAniac, I thank you but with all due respect this link got me caught up in a maze of do's, dont's and options. As an aged computer semi-literate I am sick and tired of losing my addresses and e-mails because Thunderbird does not have an easy-to-use system to export and save my mail folders and address books in order to re-import them to Thunderbird on a different computer or hard disc. Where in Ubuntu do I find an e-mail programme which incorporates easy mail/address book export/import facilities?
