Ubuntu - PCLinuxOS duel boot problem

Alright, so I successfully duel booted ubuntu and PcLinuxOS, but when I reboot only PcLinuxOS boots. How might I go about fixing this problem? I found the place in PcLinuxOS to set up boot system. There's three options available to set for "Bootloader to use", which is GRUB w/ Graphical Menu, GRUB w/ Text Menu, and LILO w/ Text Menu. Then, I can choose Boot device, which I have set to /dev/sda. I think Ubuntu's on /sda1 and I know that PcLinuxOS is on /sda3. I've experimented w/ them all, but none have successfully worked. However, when I click next from "Set Boot System", there are three entries that I can add, take away, modify that show up when the os boots (/boot/vmlinuz). Is it possible to find Ubuntu's /boot file and add it there? Thanks everybody, for your help.

The most likely reason for this would be that you installed PCLOS after Ubuntu, and it didn't recognise the ubuntu install.

Anyway, as you'er likely to be using GRUb, it's a fairly simple fix to add Ubuntu to the list. What I'd suggest, is mounting the Ubuntu /boot partition (if seperate, / if not) and then copy the content of /boot/grub/menu.lst from ubuntu into the PCLOS menu.lst/grub.conf file.

Note that you will only need to copy the block that boots ubuntu.

next time you reboot, grub should load the file, and give you the option of ubuntu or PCLOS
