    Installing BlackBuntu

    Ok I have a friend that is using BlackBuntu, and he gave me the ISO file from the site. I have tried to install it, but it only opens up the CD Directory to view the files on the image.. Is there any way I can install BBuntu???

    It sounds like you are just viewing the CD from another operating system. You need to set your computer to boot from the CD drive first in your BIOS, boot the computer with the installation CD in the drive. If it is an actual installation CD, it should boot to a Desktop where you have an option to use or install or maybe just install, never hears of BlackBuntu so...

    Hey, cool! Thx guys! Now will I have the same black screen boot problem as I had in 10.10 Ubuntu? Would I still have to edit the boot file to nomodeset???

    Ok I have created the Live Disc and it boots nicely. Now when I install on a partition on my hard drive, I get an error that states that there is no root directory. How and where do I do this?

    You probably failed to answer one of the questions it asked.
    You must designate the partition of your choice as the root
    directory. That is, the partition where you want to install should
    be called /, the root of your file system.

    Ok, I figured it out. I had to make a swap portion and a root, which i toyed around with... Now for the second thing, how do I get my wireless adapter to work with BlackBuntu?? I have NO wireless drivers. Any ideas?
