I was wondering if someone could walk me through uninstalling...

So I need to uninstall my Ubuntu OS unfortunatly for now. Since i need the space back on my WinXp partition. How do i remove the Ubuntu partition then put the two partitions back together. I don't have a WinXp disk since it came preinstalled and im pretty sure the recovery images i have won't boot up/repair WinXp.

You could use a LiveCD such as GParted to remove your Linux partition, and then re-size your Windows partition.

Then a tool such as EasyBCD should allow you to restore your Windows boot-loader.

I've not used EasyBCD, personally. But this page holds some info that should get you started.
If you run into any issues, post back with as much detailed information as you can.
Perhaps a member that has used it will see it and chime in with more detailed info.

My approach would be to boot a liveCD, run gparted, find the correct drive/parition, remove the Linux partition, resize the Windows partition, click Apply, then just reboot from the Windows drive. It shouldn't be a big problem.

It's not a problem, unless you have no bootloader, which is going to be removed when you remove the Linux partition.

That's possible, but the bootloader should be in the MBR on the Windows partition.
