Hey all,
I'm new to linux/ubuntu, but i've learned some basics from a friend.

I have installed ubuntu 11.04 on an old HP laptop. (zd7235EA)
it has an internal wifi card, broadcom 4306(rev3)

iwconfig gives me: lo, eth0 and wlan0
at wlan0 it states Power Management: off

I've tried to install the drivers but network manager keeps saying firmware is missing.

I just can't turn on my wifi, the hardware wifi button does not react. However it does work in windows after installing the network card driver.

Pls help, I'd be very gratefull.
