    Running VLC

I am having trouble watching DVD's on my Ubuntu 10.04 and it has been suggested to me to install VLC. What else might I need in addition to VLC to be able to watch my DVD's? When I try to watch a DVD using 'Movie Player I get 'Can not read from Source'

Check the following HowTo for installing and setting up your favorite video player:

VLC used to come with pretty much everything needed to play different video formats and I'm guessing that it still does.

Ozar, you again came through for me, thanks. I went to the link read what it said, then checked my Program Manager to find I had it already installed. Somehow I must have lost a folder or file? I reinstalled it and VLC also. I can say my DVD's can now be played without problems.
