Change folder view when uploading/downloading?

I'm on 11.04

You know how when you're looking at your pictures in a folder and you see thumbnails of the pictures?

Well I use 4chan a lot so I need to upload lots of pictures however It only gives me a list view and there is no view tab while uploading or downloading to change it, so I'm forced to get a second folder open, find the name of the picture I'm looking for, then select it in the browser.

How can i switch this to tile/thumbnail view always?

I'm not sure I'm understanding the problem. In your file manager, you should have a View tab and a Preview in the menu which will show the thumbnails of images. What browser are you using to upload?

Chrome. There is no view tab while uploading downloading, only when browsing files

YES I have this exact same problem Wicked X.

I'm trying to upload photos to Pinta Image Editor and I see no option where I can view the photos (Properly) before uploading them.

I hope we get an answer soon

Hi I have the same problem. I want to upload pictures to facebook when using chrome on Natty but there is no way to preview.
