    ubuntu 11.04 cannot install XP OS via oracle VM VirtualBox

    More info is obviously needed as indicated above. Here's a site that explains what you are trying to do. It should give you some ideas to compare to what you have done even though the post is three years old. Have you tried googling? I got a very large number of hits googling install xp on vbox ubuntu. You might try that and find something more current.
