    Ubuntu 11.04 and my mail inbox

    I have Ubuntu 11.04 installed, and my mail was Thunderbird but I had my inbox with about 30 messages in it and all of a sudden when I logged in my inbox was empty. Then a few days later it happened again. I figured it was the mail version so I switched to Evolution, which worked fine until about a week later and it happened in Evolution also. I would then need to determine that it was the operating system. Now I've switched to Opensuse as my O/Sof choice, but Ubuntu is still on my PC. Has anybody experienced this behavior also? I do like Ubuntu but that is quite irritating, especially if you have mail you want to keep for awhile.

    I didn't have this before but have you checked if there's an option to delete old mails ?

    Yes I have...beings it happened in two different e-mail clients, it's quite suspicious
