Cool Restore .json bookmark file with Ubutu's Firefox 6

I've been using Firefox 3.6 with other OSs & Distributrions, and have been able to backup and restore bookmarks (usually from Bookmarks, Organize Bookmarks, Import and Backup, Restore, Choose File. I have not been able to find this function in Firefox 6 for Ubuntu. The menus are different. Is the bookmark restore somewhere else?
    Thank you,
    Richard

    Hello

Look for the Import/Export/Backup option at Bookmarks -> Show All Bookmarks -> Import and Backup

Exclamation Set up Firefox Sync first!

Show all Bookmarks works (Opens a bookmark window called Library), but there is no Import and Backup submenu on the Firefox 6 that downloads from the Ubuntu Software Center.

    Until...

Mystery Solved! Firefox 6 & up may require you to set up sync before creating the Import and Backup menu.
Once you set up sync, you can sync from another computer, or import a .json file via Import and Backup, Restore, file..

Then you can import settings, including bookmarks into other browsers such as Chromium that allow import from Firefox.

Thanks for all replies on Linuxforums and Ubuntu forums,
    Richard

Strange.... it might be that Ubuntu modifies their version of Firefox in some way because I'm using Firefox 6.0.1 and have the Import and Backup of bookmarks option available to me as indicated in my earlier post. I've never setup the Sync option and still get the option to Import/Backup/Restore.

FWIW, I'm running FF 6.0.2 on Ubuntu, and that option is there for me as well.
