Novice question. How to remove unused Linux kernels (Ubuntu)

    Hi,

...a couple of kernel questions, actually.

I have a server BOSDR01 (see attached images), that boots into kernel 2.6.32-32-generic-pae and another server, PALDR01, that boots into 2.6.35-22-virtual

I would like both machines to boot into the latest virtual kernel (2.6.35-30-virtual). I've done apt-get dist-upgrade on PALDR01 but BOSDR01 is running the generic-pae kernel. Not sure how to get this to the virtual kernel

Also, how do I remove unused kernels?

    Thanks,
    JJJ

upgrading a kernel to a specific version.

Thanks, I also had a question about upgrading a kernel to a specific version.

I want the machine that runs 2.6.32-32-generic-pae to run 2.6.35-30-virtual

    How do I do that?

    Thanks again,
    JJJ
