    LibreOffice showing in weird language?

    I just installed Ubuntu yesterday and for some reason the controls in Libre Writer aren't English?

    check if the default locale is set up to english, if yes then just regenerate the locales and then remove/reinstall libreoffice

    It looks like something has switched Writer to use a symbol font. Do any of the other LO applications do the same thing? Or only Writer?
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
