    [Solved] Rollback to gnome 2.6

Hi every one! As you can see I am new here and also a pretty new user of linux. Since then I have been using Gnome 2.6 on my Ubuntu Linux and loved it. Unfortunatly I upgraded to the latest version and I have to say that it work great but The new look of it all with the side task bar is not for me. I would like to know how to roll back to the 2.6 version without re-installing the OS. I already given a shot to google about this but unfortunatly I didn't found any help to my problem.

    Thx a lot!

    Hi and Welcome !

Have you tried Ubuntu Classic? This option is available in latest version for Gnome 2.6 users.

    Two ways :
Select Ubuntu Classic at Login Screen.
    Or
Select Ubuntu Classic Login Screen settings in Ubuntu Applications option available in Side Bar.

Btw, I am also using Ubuntu Classic only.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
