    Asus eeepc 1215b not buffering hd videos anymore

    So when the netbook was still under windows it used to read 1080p videos on youtube really well. Now that I put ubuntu on it it doesn't read hd videos, even 480p is choppy now. I activated the only driver ubuntu suggested for the graphics card.
    How can I solve this problem?

    PS: For those of you who have trouble with video acceleration, follow this guide
    Mine are eeepc 701SD and a 900 which run AntiX instead of Ubuntu so not much help on a 1215b with ati graphics chip. Look through page 10 also in that thread or just read the whole thread.
