I cannot set chromium as default browser. ahh!

    Hello there,

I have Ubuntu 11.04 with at least two browsers intalled, firefox and chromium.

Each time I start Chromium I get a message telling me that Chromium isnt my default browser, and asking me if I want to set it as the default. I want to set it as default browser, so i click the button every time.

Next time i start the browser, same thing happens, as if my preferences were not saved from last session. this annoys the hell out of me.

    What can I do?

    thank you for your time,

    Kind regards,
    Marius

Go to system settings, preferred applications you should see firefox with arrows on the right side. Clicking on the arrow should show you the other browser. Clicking on that, I would think would set that browser as the default.
