Hello

I am currently trying to get my computer to configure with a robot I am working with in school which requires me to connect a kinnect , arbotix, and irobo usb into the computer. The problem seems to be that the usb serial ports are not working. I was told in another forum to type "ls -l /dev/ttyUSB*" in the command prompt to see what I got as output and it was "crw-rw---- 1 root dialout 188, 0 2011-10-04 13:09 /dev/ttyUSB0". I think I need to configure the computer to recognize the serial ports but I don't know how to do that. Some please help. Thanks in advanced.
