Need a recommendation on a good USB CD burner for Ububtu
Just looking for a not too pricey External USB CD burner. Any suggestions?

I've got a couple of different types, one is just a generic case with a laptop burner in it. I've used several others too, and I can't ever recall any of them not working (with various versions of Fedora and CentOS, Moblin and probably some others but not Ubuntu). Just go with your budget.
You might just want to get a CD drive enclosure and put a standard CD cooker in that - they're not expensive, and if it breaks (which it will) you can replace the drive.Linux user #126863 - see http://linuxcounter.net/

I go with Roxoff. Also, I like Lightscribe, if you haven't yet you may want to consider if you want it (or not) on your cd burner.
