    Screen not coming back in ubuntu 11.10

    So i just upgraded to 11.10 and now whenever i set it to just blank screen when i close the lid, as opposed to suspend, it doesn't come back when i open it back up. and its not like it's suspending because i can still navigate, buttons still work and i know its on because its a true black as apposed to the greenish tint when its actually off, but i just get a black screen.

    when you open it try going to level one init (cntrl + alt + f1), then do cntrl + alt + f5, see if X restarts that way. If it does I recommend bug reporting
