usb mouse lit up and can scroll but does not move
hi guys exactly what it says in the title really. been having a lot of trouble since adding a low latency kernel to my other fedora partition (unrelated im sure), which is showing itself now as total usb mouse freezing. this is happening on all usb ports and with 2 separate mouses(?). perhaps a total tangent but may be important, i am wanting to do a fresh install of my fedora setup and upon booting a live disk it flashes up that gnome 3 has fallen int fallback mode (although my nvidia geforce 8200 should be able to deal with it and is also being found within the terminal) and the mouse does not work here also. im hoping its not a motherboard issue. any help is very much appreciated

i have attempted to look in the xorg file using sudo gedit /et/x11/xorg.conf and it opens a blank document. am i looking in the right place or is this wrong?
