    Need Help With Java on Ubuntu 11.10 please ?

    Hi,

    I have installed java but when i try to log in to a chat room the applet just freezes when logging as seen in the screenshot below :-

    Well, that (the screen image) isn't particularly helpful... Is your system running 32-bit or 64-bit Ubuntu? Also, what web browser are you running?
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

    I am running 64 bit Ubuntu and using firefox i also tried google chrome and the same thing happens.
