Any fix to get Ubuntu 11.10 to load flash faster?
Windows loads flash/ youtube videos very fast. Linux took a very long time to load the same one, at 240P. When windows did it in full 1080P... any reason for this? Both 32 and 64 bit.

Which flash plugin are you using? There are several, including ones directly from Adobe.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

I was using the official Flash from Adobe. I also tried the flash replacement viewer.

So, is it the time lag from start to display, or is it the speed that the file physically downloads into buffer? If the first, then it may be how your DNS is configured. That will also affect web page loading and such as well.
