    from my AntiX install readout. I don't Ubuntu 11.10 so lost in this thread for any other advise.

    @justtryin,
    Try that in a terminal window after mounting your .iso disc.
    It might work for us.

    Driver's probably missing. Reinstall Ubuntu.If that doesn't work, download ubuntu again and install.
