    Post VBox file access possibility

    Hi !

Just wanted to know the folder/file location of the Vbox installed guest OS files in ubuntu host?

for example : Ubuntu is the Host & Windows Xp installed guest.
i want to access a docx or xlsx file in win xp.
Can i copy or move a docx file from ubuntu documents to a vbox win xp installed folder C drive or something? so that i can access directly in the guest os, without using an external device like coping it to pen-drive & accessing it through usb ?

    Thanks !

I can be found either 40 miles west of Chicago, in Chicago, or in a galaxy far, far away.
They are generally installed into the home directory of the user who created the VM in ~/.VirtualBox - you will see some directories such as HardDiscs, Machines, and VDI as well as some log files and configuration data.
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
Just remember, Semper Gumbi - always be flexible!
