i did post that output!
anyway i have deleted the linux partition from my harddrive and have installed it in a virtual machine, its slower but my network connection works.........

ok, fresh install ubuntu 10.04.3, i have done NOTHING TO IT added no drivers no ndiswrapper no wine , NOTHING!!! so if your willing to help i wont make a move or a download unless directed!!!!!!!

Try updating your kernel. Newer kernels had better support built in for wireless drivers. The Linux Kernel Archives

yes sir that is complete. I just ran lspci -knn again to double check and that's where it stops. I take it that is not quite right?!
