    Unhappy USB not showing

    Hello everyone,

    I'm having problem on my machine powered by Oneiric Ocelot. I have 32GB USB Stick (got it from eBay) that isn't showing. I have another machine powered by Win7 and it works perfectly.
    If i run mount in terminal there is no USB.

    Any help/hint would be appreciated

    You may have to manually mount it initially. Before you insert it into the USB port, look at the drives listed in /dev. IE: ls /dev/sd*
    Then plug in the drive, and look at what is there now. The new entry /dev/sdx and /dev/sdx1 will be the drive and the file system partition respectively. You can then mount that manually and find your data.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
