    How to navigate to other partition?


    I installed Ubuntu on VirtualBox on partition U: and I set shared folder on D: partition. How can I access to this folder on Ubuntu?

    What do you mean by installing Ubuntu on partition U Do you mean that the VM files are on a specific Windows partition? Or did you manually partition your virtual disc and install Ubuntu there? In any case, to access a shared Windows folder from a VirtualBox VM system, you have to install Guest Additions on the guest virtual machine operating system. Then add the shared folder using with the VBox host GUI where you created/configured the VM originally, or by accessing the "Shared Folders" entry in the VM "Devices" menu.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.

    well I'm using kubuntu
    I've automounted the drives using fstab
    then a widget " folder view " of a folder MY COMPUTER, & put the links to the drives.
    It is like my computer thing is on the desktop
