There are 4 that have to be installed for wvdial to work. sudo apt-get install is not getting it done!

Mike, I got an email that the code is sudo dpkg -i ( file ) and that worked! I put the files into my home folder and then I used nautilus to change the permissions to run as a program, and extract them. Then I used the terminal and the command to successfully install everything. The only thing I need to find out now is how do I access the modem configuration and use it.
I found nstructions on the internet on using a terminal to configure dial up. I sure hope that it works.Last edited by cousinlucky; 09-26-2012 at 11:33 AM.
