    Problems with Thunderbird


    Hi. I am currently having great difficulties opening Thunderbird. I am running Lubuntu 12.10, and upon opening a terminal and typing thunderbird, I get the following:

    I have also tried removing Thunderbird, updating, then reinstalling, but i still get the same thing. Please help/assist me. Thanks!

    Thunderbird is usually a bit behind the latest Linux distributions, such as Ubuntu 12.10, and since that just was released this month, I am not surprised that some stuff, like tbird, don't work.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
    Just remember, Semper Gumbi - always be flexible!

    There is known bug in latest release of Thunderbird. You have to run it in safe mode until dev team fix this bug.
