Lightweight Ubuntu based Linux distro needed.
Dose anyone know where I can find a lightweight ubuntu based llinux distro with a good selection of drivers. It must also be able to run on a computer with one 64-bit single core x86 CPU and about 500MB of RAM.

You can try Linux Mint xfce . I think even Linux Mint cinnamon desktop should work but should deactivate desktop effects, If neither of those floats your boat goto xbmc.org and get xbmcbuntu it is vet lightweihjt and just install the components you need .Even uninstall xbmc if you like! It has the bare minimum and is based on lxde desktop
