Network Printer share UBUNTU 12.10 / Windows 7
My Host computer is running Windows 7 ( 64 Bit ), my other netbook is running Ubuntu 12.10 - I want to share an HP printer, which is connected to the Windows Machine.
When I go to printer set up - I can see the printer but cannot validate or connect to it.
Previously I had Ubuntu Natty and it worked fine - as did Mint 11.
Any ideas please.

You might post a little more information on what you have done and what happens. Ubuntu is connected how? Wired ethernet? wireless? If the printer is (apparently?) detected in Ubuntu, what steps have you taken to configure it and how?

Problem SOLVED - it appears that "sharing" had been disabled in the Host machine - now it works. Sorry for any inconvenience caused by my stupidity !!.
