Ubuntu server 12.1 and Mediatomb

So I haven’t used Linux in a while but have recently purchased several RaspberryPi's and have sort of got back into it. So I decided to create a media network with xbmc and ubuntu server 12.10.

I have tried to install Mediatomb on Ubuntu and i am getting a stream of errors. Listed below.

i have added the following into sorces.list to see if this resolved the problem but it did not and I’m kind of at a loss with what to do next.

deb apt(dot)mediatomb(dot)cc/ quantal main
deb apt(dot)mediatomb(dot)cc/ quantal universe

there is more to the error but i cant post it because it contains links. but it is the general failed to fetch ...... tempory failure resolving gb.archive.ubuntu(dot)com

Error:

Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-mis    sing?

Anyway any help will be appreciated.

my bad i hadnt saved the DNS config when i installed ubuntu :P
