New to linux torchlight 2 question

so ive seen many articles stating torchlight 2 can be ran on linux and im new so im not to familuar with linux. my main question is how do i install torchlight 2 steam version on linux? im sorry if this is a dumb question but i got wine all up ready to go but all the articles ive read shows people being able to play it but i have no idea how to install it =S thanks in advance

As far as I know the only way to install TL2 in Linux is through wine. TL2 does not and has no plans on supporting a native Linux install (last I heard).

You should just be able to run steam through wine and install it, in vanilla wine. That is the way I did it.
