Copy status not showing.
I am new to using Linux, so I am sure this is a very simple question for most. I am copying files from one external hard drive to another. The window that displays the progress, amount of time left, etc., is not showing anymore. Can someone please tell me how to get that back? Thanks in advance!

Hi and Welcome !
Which Linux distro are you using? Have you checked Status Bar of the Folder window? It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Devils Casper,
Thank you for trying to help. The home folder is only showing two windows, the two external hard drives that I am using. It was showing, and I closed the window to abort a copy and it never appeared on the next copies. I am sorry, but I do not know what you mean by Linux distro. I have Ubunto 12.4 if that is what you mean.
Thanks again!

I figured it out! Right click on the Home Folder and select “Show Copy Dialog”. The window is actually called File Operations. At this point you can right click on the File Operation window and select options such as “Always On Top”. I hope this will be able to help someone else.
