Tough one.. changing shutdown command in gnome menu

Hello, if anyone knows this one it would be great.

I am looking to change the command that is launched when pressing on the shutdown icon in gnome classic.

Since I have a different window manager, when the shut down button is pressed it tries to launch the default gnome commands.

I'm looking to replace the shutdown, logout, restart and so on..

    Thank you

It's lubuntu 12.10, which I replaced the top panel with gnome classic. The command I'd like it to run when any of the shutdown logout restart buttons are pressed is 'lubuntu-logout'
    instead of the gnome one.

The other option is to direct the gnome logout command to lubuntu-logout

I think it's hard coded into the SystemMenu/Actions applet and seems to be part of gdm, not gnome. Couldn't you just make a launcher of your own and get rid of the factory one?

That would be great, I made a logout button but the other shutdown applet is combined with other important applets like network etc. wish I could make it from scratch or to find a replacement for this applets.

If not I'm thinking about redirecting gnome's logout command to lxde's

    Thanks
